API platform

Your next million API users won't be human. Give developers and AI agents everything they need from one OpenAPI file.

Latitude 10 is an API platform: one OpenAPI document becomes a versioned registry, a hosted API reference with an API client, docs for people and AI agents, TypeScript and Python SDKs, and a hosted MCP server. It’s built by Jorge Ortega at October Moon LLC. Free to start; Pro is $150 a month.

Who is behind Latitude 10?

Jorge Ortega

I'm Jorge Ortega, a senior software engineer with 18 years of building and scaling SaaS in Costa Rica, the United States and Germany. For nine of them I worked on a multi-tenant patient portal used by hospitals and clinics across Germany. Today I build an API platform around one OpenAPI spec, and sell the kits behind it.

The name comes from the 10th parallel north, which runs through Costa Rica, where I studied and started my career.

I'm Jorge Ortega, a senior software engineer with 18 years of experience building and scaling SaaS products across Costa Rica, the United States, and Germany. I started as a frontend developer and have grown into a senior engineering role, now developing toward software architecture.

For the past 9 years I've worked at samedi GmbH in Berlin, where I became a core contributor to a multi-tenant white-label patient portal used by hospitals and clinics across Germany, with a focus on frontend-heavy system design and bridging UX with complex backend constraints. Earlier, I worked on large-scale e-commerce UI systems at Backcountry.com in the US, and started my career at Grupo Nación, one of Central America's major media groups.

Today I'm building Latitude 10 into an API platform: one OpenAPI spec, made into docs, SDKs, an API client and MCP servers. I also build those for clients, and list them where agents look: AWS Marketplace, the Claude directory and the MCP registries. The work runs on kits I wrote and sell, so it takes weeks instead of months.

A multi-tenant patient portal used across an entire country

Helped build one of Germany’s leading healthcare SaaS platforms, a multi-tenant white-label patient portal used by hospitals and clinics serving thousands of healthcare professionals.

A high-scale online store built for peak demand

Contributed to a major U.S. e-commerce platform serving hundreds of thousands of customers, helping keep the site fast and reliable under heavy, unpredictable traffic.

An editorial platform for a major regional media group

Built and maintained an editorial and content platform for one of Central America’s largest media and marketing organizations, supporting high-traffic publishing workflows.

Core banking systems, early in my career

Started my career building core banking systems for a Central American financial institution — early, hands-on exposure to regulated, high-stakes financial software.

Questions

What is Latitude 10?

Latitude 10 is an API platform: one OpenAPI document becomes a versioned registry, a hosted API reference with an API client, docs for people and AI agents, TypeScript and Python SDKs, and a hosted MCP server. It’s built by Jorge Ortega at October Moon LLC. All of it works today, beside the free agent readiness check and Agentify’s self-hosted kits.

What can I use today?

A free workspace with the registry (every version of your spec, scored, with breaking changes flagged) a hosted, embeddable API reference you can publish, hosted docs in Markdown with llms.txt and their own MCP server, and a hosted MCP server that turns your spec into tools for AI agents, with a stored credential and keys you hand out; the agent readiness check, free in your browser, as an MCP server and as the open-source openapi-agent-check CLI; the Agent Payments Sandbox and two guides; and Agentify’s self-hosted edition: kits that turn your OpenAPI spec into an MCP server for Node.js, Python, .NET and Java.

What does it cost?

Free costs $0. Pro costs $150 a month, or $125 a month, billed annually, and Business $600 a month, or $500 a month, billed annually, each after a 14-day free trial. Enterprise is quoted for you, with SSO, the audit log and an SLA. The Agentify kits cost from $19, paid once, and services start at $500.

What does the readiness check look at?

It scores an OpenAPI spec from 0 to 100 for how well AI agents can use it: operation ids, summaries and descriptions, examples, schemas, errors, pagination, auth, idempotent writes and the number of tools. Then it says what to fix first. Its rules are open source (MIT).

What is an MCP server?

A server that speaks the Model Context Protocol (MCP), the open standard AI applications such as Claude use to find and call tools. Each API operation you choose becomes a tool an agent can call, behind OAuth, per-tool scopes, rate limits and an audit log.

Who owns the code?

You do, once the work is paid in full. It runs on your infrastructure, in your repository. The kit code inside it stays ours and is licensed to you, for good, for that project.

Start with your spec.

Push one OpenAPI file, free, and get the rest from it. Or score it for AI agents first, in your browser.
