Coati Privacy Policy
Last updated:
This policy covers the Coati iPhone app (listed on the App Store as Coati Dev Tools), made by October Moon LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company trading as Latitude 10 (“we”, “us”). Our website has its own privacy policy.
1. Who is responsible
October Moon LLC, 30 N Gould St. #64304, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States, publishes Coati. Contact: jorge@latitude10.tech, +1 (307) 998 1317. Because the app sends us no personal data, we hold none from it; write to the same address about anything in this policy.
2. What we collect
Nothing. Coati has no account or sign-in with us, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no third-party SDK, and it doesn't send usage data, crash data or identifiers to us or to anyone else. Its App Store privacy label says Data Not Collected.
3. What stays on your iPhone
The servers and requests you save, your recent calls and responses (up to the history limit you set in Settings › Data), and your settings are stored in the app's own storage on your iPhone. Before Coati stores a request or a response, it masks authorization headers, cookies, token and password fields, and any password or key you have saved in it.
Passwords, tokens and API keys you enter are stored in the iOS Keychain, marked for this device only, so they aren't synced to iCloud Keychain or moved to another iPhone. Like other app data, the rest is part of your iPhone's backups. Settings › Data › Delete everything removes all of it, Keychain items included.
4. Where your requests go
When you test a connection, call a tool or run a request, Coati sends it directly from your iPhone to the server or URL you entered, with the credentials you chose for it. Nothing passes through our servers. The operator of each server receives your requests under its own terms and privacy policy; that includes the example server the first-run screen can add for you (DeepWiki, run by Cognition), which Coati contacts only if you add it.
6. Links to our website
Settings › About opens pages on latitude10.tech in an in-app browser. Visiting them is covered by our website's privacy policy.
7. Apple
Apple distributes Coati through the App Store and TestFlight and handles downloads, updates and payments under its own privacy policy. If you turn on sharing with app developers in your iPhone's settings, or send feedback from TestFlight, Apple passes us crash reports, usage statistics and the feedback and screenshots you send, without identifying you to us unless you include your details. We use them only to fix Coati and delete them when they are no longer needed for that.
8. Children
Coati is a tool for software developers and isn't directed at children under 13.
9. Changes
If a future version offers something that needs our servers, such as hosted webhook endpoints, it will be off until you turn it on, and we will describe what it sends here before that version is released. The date at the top shows the last change.
